You may need to consider the followings in your Fabrication Execution Plan:

  • List of frabrication work sites
  • Manpower requirements
  • Describe which items will be fabricated at each work site
  • Describe plan for setting up facilities required before commencing fabrication activities
  • Describe how fabrication at multiple work sites will be coordinated
  • Fabrication schedule with milestones
  • Consider late arriving equipment and materials on the fabrication sequence and critical path
  • Consider accommodation and office spaces
  • Consider work areas (shops) needed for fabrication activities for fit-up, welding, blasting and painting
  • Consider interfaces between fabrication work sites
  • Define for each construction site the fabrication, equipment, and transportation capacity
