Pipe ring simply is a round shaped metal part used to support a pipe from a suspended rod. The ring is typically made from Cast Iron or Carbon Steel to meet specifications.

Pipe Ring usually applied for piping runs close to ceilings or walls.

They are often used in suspending un-insulated stationary pipe vertically or horizontally. You can find them in Pipe hangers and bracing in fire protection piping systems.
