Volatile Sample - Any sample that has a dry vapor pressure in the range of 2 to 16 psia (13 to 105 kPa).

Toxic Sample - Any sample that will be harmful to humans through dermal exposure or identified by OSHA in the Hazard Communication Standard.

Hazardous Sample - Any sample that is not permitted to be discharged into the atmosphere or into an open drain by any applicable authority.
